Joseph ENNIN ：From Day 1, I observe people having a great time and I received many wonderful comments about the fun, friendly and great variety at the event.  Organizational wise I faced some unexpected situations beyond me or anyone's control and felt that the solution provided for these situations were outstanding given little to no warning. I believe with additonal personnel for the next event and closer communication with leaders of partner groups the communication to all attendees can be improved and so with all the above considerations I would give my team and I some 7 out of 10 overall. 从第1天开始，我观察到大家这次都很开心，同时也收到很多关于这次活动的好评。大家一致认为这次活动很有趣，气氛友好，活动形式丰富多彩。从组织的角度看，我面临了一些超出我个人以及任何其他人可控的局面，我自认为对这些突发情况的处理还是很出色的。我相信下一届的活动，随着更多工作人员的加入以及与合作方更紧密地沟通，我们与所有参加活动的人之间的交流会有很大的提高。基于以上的分析，我想给我自己和我的团队为此次的活动打上7分（十分制）。

17salsa： Can you brief introduce 2012 HK Salsa World Congress or Championship? 你能简要介绍一下2012年香港莎莎大会或锦标赛吗？

Joseph ENNIN ：World Salsa Championships will replace Asia-Pacific Salsa Open Championships.  It will have the biggest prize money in the World. It will court participation from more countries around the world than any other salsa championship event in the world. Renowned Judges and fair judging irregardless of which country the performers come from. Everyone stands a chance to win.  With the counting of marks for placings by each member from each country there will also be chance for individual countries to come out on top by their overall country performance.亚太salsa公开赛将升级成世界salsa锦标赛，奖金额将是世界上最多的。报名参加我们下届活动的选手将来自世界各地。参与的国家将比世界上任何一个其他的Salsa冠军杯比赛都多。更有知名的裁判加入以及不受表演者国籍影响的公正评判，每一个人都有机会胜出。除了对来自不同国家的个人或团体按积分排名外，我们还将按国家整体表现排出名次。

17salsa：When? 什么时候？

Joseph ENNIN ：End of February or Beginning of March. Need to confirm venue first. See if it is available. But it is almost certain to be at HKCEC again. 二月底或三月初，需要首先场地的确认，看看它是否可用，但几乎可以肯定还在香港会展中心了。

17salsa：    How many participating countries? 将会有多少参加国？

Joseph ENNIN: I expect participants from Europe, Americas, Middle East, Oceania (Australia/New Zealand), Asia and possibly Africa. 我期待来自欧洲，美洲，中东，大洋洲（澳大利亚/新西兰），亚洲和非洲可能的参与者。

17salsa:  How many performance team can you expect? 多少个表演团队可以期待参加？

Joseph ENNIN : Hard to predict but now there are two great reasons to come to the event: The ever-improving HKSF and now the Worlds's Biggest Salsa Competition. 17salsa：What special about next years' festival? 明年的salsa节有什么特别之处？
Joseph ENNIN:  Once again, we are hosting the biggest World Salsa Championships event during HKSF so     there is elevation of the importance of this event. 再一次，我们在举办香港salsa节中最大的世界salsa冠军赛，所以这次活动的重要性得到提升。

Joseph ENNIN：Proudly, China/Asia is going to lead the world for Salsa Championships competition, bringing champions from around the world to compete and having our own talented dancers of Asia right there competing side by side with them and therefore gaining more and more experience for a great future for salsa in Asia.
Our instructors and venues for HKSF2012 will be outstanding. We will run a very controlled schedule to enable more social dancing time, something that even we had the most social dancing time of any festival, we still miss to have more time at HKCEC. This matter will be addressed for HKSF2012.很值得骄傲的是，中国/亚洲将领导全世界的salsa冠军赛，把全球的冠军集中到一起，跟我们的有才华的舞者同场竞技，从而为亚洲打造更辉煌的salsa前景积累更多宝贵的经验。2012年的HKSF，我们的老师和场馆是一流的。我们会有一个把控得更好的时间表，以保证更长的社交舞会的时间，虽然我们今年这次已经比任何一届salsa节的社交舞会时间都长了，但好像我们在香港会展中心的跳舞时间还显得不太够，明年的香港Salsa节我们会特别注意这一点。
17salsa：What advice would you give to mainland participants and dancers? 您对大陆与会者和舞者有何建议？

Joseph ENNIN：Register early because there is possibility of sellout for HKSF2012 event which will include a magnificent World Salsa Championships event. Its a great opportunity to learn from the very best by watching them and dancing with them during the event. try to come to as many days as possible of the festival. It is a great opportunity to improve. 早报名还有一个原因是下届的香港Salsa节门票很可能会销售一空，因为我们将纳入一个超棒的世界Salsa冠军比赛环节。这将是一个绝好的机会通过观看，甚至与他们共舞来向世界冠军们学习。请尽量争取多来参加每天的活动。这是个极好的提高自己水平的机会。
Joseph ENNIN ：Participate fully, by competing, performing as well if you are in a team. In the near future, you may have the opportunity to showcase to the world outstanding dancing from China and it all starts with rubbing shoulders (mixing) with the best of the best. If competing, please pay attention to precision of timing, dress sense and enjoy yourself on the stage, (like the kids ha ha) 你如果有自己的团队，请全情投入到比赛和表演中来。在不久的将来，你可能有机会代表中国向世界展示你出色的舞技，而这一切都将从与世界上最好的舞者接触开始。如果是参加比赛，请注意踩点的准确性，着装意识，同时在舞台上充分享受自己。（像孩子一样，哈哈）。

17salsa：You are born in Ghana, then you moved to London for 20 years, the last 10 years you live in Hongkong,  How long have you learn and leach salsa? who is the hottest instructors in HK? 您出生在加纳，然后您去了伦敦住了20年，最近10年您定居在香港，那么您学和教salsa多久了？谁是香港最火的老师？

Joseph ENNIN ：Yes, I'm Ghana born and stay in UK for over 25 years. I started learning and dancing salsa in 1995 from instructors from Columbia, Spain, Argentina, Brazil, UK, and then winning Amateur European Salsa Competition in 1998 held in London. I've been teaching salsa for 12 years manly in Hong Kong but also in many other countries. I performed at 1st New York Salsa Congress in 2001 with partner from Hong Kong and we also performed at LA Salsa Congress, Japan Salsa Congress and afterwards I have taken teams to perform in many cities and countries mainly in Asia. I am also one of popular salsa Djs living in Asia. I like to involve in all aspects of salsa. Joseph ENNIN：Hottest instructors in Hong Kong is hard to say. Because people like different things. Sherman Chow is new talent who has trained dance background and teaches very well. She currently teaches with me and performs in my dance team.  Doris Tse is very experienced Ladies Styling instructor who I consider world class. Emily Ma teaches and dances Zouk and Bachata with a passion. Franky Wong loves Rueda and has about 12 years of salsa teaching experience. Simon Fung is popular in the salsa scene in Hong Kong and teaches only one or two classes each week. In this time, I organize more salsa club nights and local and international salsa events than any other instructors in HK. Internationally, I am currently the most traveled or known instructor living in Hong Kong. I expect the new generation to take over from me sometime soon :-)

17salsa：Have you been to Beijing? How do you think of China Salsa Congress which was held in Beijing 4 times over the past few years? 您去过北京吗？您怎么看过去几年在北京举办过4次的中国salsa大会？

Joseph ENNIN ：I've been to Beijing a few time for China Salsa Congress. The production of the event is very impressive. I expect it to become a major event in Asia and possibly world once it has established its "identity". 我去过北京的中国salsa大会，活动办得令人印象深刻。我期望它能成为亚洲的主要活动，一旦有可能在世界上确立它的“身份”。

17salsa：What do you want to say to 17salsa and mainland salsa Dancers? 您对17salsa和大陆salsa舞者有什么要说的吗？

Joseph ENNIN：You have a great and very well organized setup. You are in a great position to become famous salsa group and country in the world. Salsa is really set to grow more and more. it will not shrink but get bigger. It is a wonderful music and dance for all ages. Important to not only learn all the tricks from different parts of the world but also you can bring your own "personalities" into the dance to create uniqueness which is what makes salsa so special. People made some great comments about dancers from China during HKSF2011 and you could see just how popular was the performers, with one team winning the Asia-Pacific Salsa Open Championships and another team being invited back to dance again after receiving standing ovations. Let us see more of you and you see more of the world's great dancers next year. They will get to know you and then want to come and join your events in China. This is how the Hong Kong Salsa Festival grew, because our community travels and makes new friends from around the world.
I am sure the world would love to meet the beautiful and elegant dancers from China again soon. I want to see more of you again very soon.你们有一个伟大的和非常好的组织设置，你们处在一个很好的位置去成为世界上著名的Salsa集团和国家。Salsa真的增长的越来越多，它不会萎缩只会更大。对于所有年龄的人来说，Salsa都是美妙的音乐和舞蹈。
