Bachata Festival DK is an International None Profit* and SOCIAL Latin Dance Festival planned to be hold every year at primetime (summer) in wonderful Copenhagen City.
 
It means that Bachata Festival DK will try to involve as many as possible from the Social Latin Dance Community in DK who are interested in a cooperation and simultaneously meets the quality we want at the Festivals: Instructors, Musicians, DJ's, Clubs etc.
 
Bachata Festival DK will also invite Instructors, Musicians, DJ's etc. from around the world to meet the desire for inspiration from other countries Social Latin Dance Communities as well and to make it an Recurrent International Social Dance and Music Event with Participants from all over the world.
 
*We are not doing this for Profit - We wish to develop the bedst International Social Dance Festival within Caribbean social dances with the cheapest possible price for everyone in order to participate. That's why we have organized all Workshops to take place at Groendal Sport Center right next to Bellahoej Camping with the cheapest accommodation in Copenhagen - There is also a cheap Hostel near by - The Parties from Thursdag to Saturday will take place in Copenhagen City with near by public transportation - Our ambitions are to have at least two high quality Live Music performens at the Parties and furthermore to bring the most interesting Instructors every year so that the festival can grow year by year and thereby contribute to a greater understanding of Social Dances and its Accompanying Music in order to enhance quality of life for everyone in the world who are interested - The resulting expected profit when the festival gets bigger will be used for various Self-Help projects for enterprising poor people in poor countries with the help from local organizations and partners.
 
Dance and Music has always been an important element of mental survival in poor countries - It's
now also in rich countries - It is something we have rediscovered through the poor countries and now we must give back by helping them learning to support themselves, so they can have a full life with access to food, education, healthcare, a safe home etc.
